Reflexology and Indian Head Massage
Reflexology
A healing treatment that can be applied to the feet or hands, it helps to restore an order of balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. Reflexology is based on holistic principles and stems from the same Chinese roots as acupuncture. Locating and gently massaging reflexology points on the foot helps redress the imbalance of energy that can cause stress and ill health.
Indian Head Massage
A centuries old treatment that alleviates stress related conditions including headaches, eyestrain, and neck and shoulder tension, created for example through driving or keyboard complaints.
Massaging the head, neck and shoulders can improve blood flow, alleviate anxiety, and relax the whole of the body.
Within the shoulders, upper back, neck, upper arms and face there are energy centres. This treatment covers all of these areas with a combination of rhythmic strokes that soothe and rebalance the energy flow, creating a feeling of relaxation and inner peace.
Meditation
Meditation is a gentle form of relaxation of both mind and body and can be practiced wherever and however you feel comfortable.
After two or three sessions you should be able to meditate by yourself, putting life back into perspective, helping you to focus and concentrate. Meditation also helps to promote good quality sleep.
